Did you know that Ancient Chinese women had their feet bound into the shape of a lily? They believed it was symbolic for beauty and later, would give them good fortune.
Year 7 study aspects of Ancient China- the people's everyday lifestyles: how they lived, what they ate and even their core beliefs.
As one of the assessment pieces, 7L created vibrant posters about Ancient China and discussed things like:
- How long was the Great Wall of China?
- What the Yin Yang?
- Who did they dress?
- Identify the role of the dragon in Ancient Chinese society
- Where did they live?
- What were their legacies and types of technologies we still use today?
