Our library (A.K.A. THE HUB) has five flexible teaching and learning spaces with a designated Senior Study Area, a Seminar Room and a Maker Space available for student and staff use. There are various relaxed and flexible seating options available for use during class time and breaks.
Resources comprise a wide range of print and digital material, including:
- fiction (e.g. graphic novels, picture books)
- nonfiction (e.g. research, teacher & HSC resources)
- senior study materials (e.g. closed reserve study guides, past papers)
- faculty text-books
- newspaper clippings
BREAKS: Students also use the library before school, during recess and lunch for classwork, assignments, chess, board games, cards, reading and computer games, colouring in and knitting clubs. Our ‘Print and Go' service is very popular with students who may be unable to print assessment work at home.
The library is well utilised by classes, professional development and meetings, hosting regular school and community based events and activities.
Come in and say hello!
