Through their blood donation on Thursday 11 May at Yamba Bowling Club 11 students have helped many individuals in need of blood.
The students have made an amazing life changing difference to Australians they have never met. A fine effort for our first timers – Year 12 students – Nicole Cowling, Georgie Dobbin, Yee Ming Goh, Eryn Hammond, James Holman, Lauren Illig, Amie Inmon, Mitchell Johns, Sophie Lindner, Elizabeth Rose and Olivia Skinner Spiers.
The Blood Donation team complimented the students, not only on their maturity and manners but also on ensuring they were well prepared for donating blood by drinking lots of water and eating a good breakfast and lunch prior to donating.
Every donation saves 3 lives, so every time you donate you save even more lives. Please encourage others to join in and saving lives.
A very special thank you to Max from Clarence Community Transport for helping to get our first time blood donors to Yamba
