Wheels up for big air

The Inaugural Inter-School Skate Competition was held at Yamba Skate Park on the 7th of December 2016, there were approximately 15-20 competitors who competed in the under 14s boys and girls and Open boys and girls competition. There were a few sick grinds on the day with the winners being: under 14's girls in second place was Molly Deakin and in first place Gracie Donsworth. Coming in third for the under 14's boys was Reily Wundelich, second was Zephyr Skipper and first place went to Chad Bradley despite busting his ankle in his first heat. Third place for the opens went to Billy Bradley, Angus Kelly took out second and the speed demon himself Michel Roberts in first.

It was a good day and on behalf of the school I would like to thank Alstonville High School for coming out on the day, Truck Stop Skate and Nan and Pop's for judging and sponsoring the event and Mr Alan Skipper for putting the event together.
