2017 Open Boys Cricket v Rivers College

The open boys cricket team travelled to Lismore to play Rivers College for the 3rd round of the knock out competition. Maclean High won the toss and elected to bat first. Opening batsmen Coby Tabor and Nathan Hollis got us off to a cracking start, putting together a partnership of 53 off the first eight overs. At drinks the boys were in an excellent position at 3 for 129 off 20 overs. The dreaded ‘drinks break curse' struck as our momentum was halted and we failed to push on and capitalise.
