Country Cup Rugby League 4th June 2015 at Wherrett Park, Maclean

U13's

Maclean High played Grafton High in the first game of the day in the Under 13's of the Country Cup.  Maclean won the game 24 points to 4. Julian Torrens and Jake Mills scored twice with a Man of the match performance given to Liam Barnes. 

The second game was against South Grafton. Maclean ran out winners 20 points to Nil. Julian Torrens, Ethan Foster and Josh Bridges were impressive. Hayden Moss was awarded the man of the match with some huge tackles and big runs.

The final game was against McAuley College. Maclean High never gave them a chance running out winners 28 points to 4. Jorden Elabbasi, Kai Thomsen and Ethan Foster played great. The man of the match and day was awarded to Julian Torrens. Julian tackled all day, scored eight tries and was inspirational as Captain.

U15's

Maclean High played South Grafton White in the opening game of the Under 15's of the Country Cup. Maclean High was too strong winning 20 points to nil. Charles Charlton-Walker and Brodie Williams led from the front while Nathan Hollis was given man of the match.

The next game for Maclean High was against South Grafton Red.  This was South Grafton's number one team and proved a little bit better than Maclean on the day. South Grafton Red scoring 8 points to beat Maclean who scored 4 points. Jayden Gerrard and Robbie Welsh never backed down and Barney Anderson did the tackle of the day. Charles Charlton-Walker was awarded man of the match.

The final game of the day was Maclean High against Grafton High. Maclean winning 20 points to 12. Jacob Warburton, Gabe Wheadon and Luke Jackson played well. Brodie Williams was awarded man of the match and also player of the day.
